We first saw Simon at a friend’s wedding and he made a lasting memory. When we decided to set a date for our marriage we knew we wanted him to play. Simon was amazing on the day and we had so much positive feedback from our guests. Everybody enjoyed his music and his choice of songs catered for all age groups, even the venue took his details as they were that impressed. We decided to book Simon during the ceremony and afterwards. Having Simon play as my wife walked down the aisle was truly unforgettable and he specifically crafted his own version of her favourite song which made it that extra bit special. When we got back from having our photos taken we were able to enjoy Simon’s last few sets. He provided great entertainment for our guests during a time of the day when they would have normally been waiting for us to get back. Our only regret was not booking Simon to play in the evening. I would highly recommend Simon for any wedding big or small.”

Great acoustic musician, always gets the party started! Big guitar sound and powerful voice, always a hit here!”

We got married in August and Simon played for our guests before and after the ceremony and as I walked down the aisle. We really wanted to have him play for us to make the service a little different and unique – our guests really enjoyed the live music rather than having a CD played! We asked him to sing ‘In My Life’ by the Beatles when I walked down the aisle, one of our favourite songs. We knew this would be a challenge – as a solo, acoustic artist singing a Beatles song would be! But he did an absolutely incredible job! It was just perfect and felt so personal. He sang such a range of fantastic songs, everyone loved him! We would highly recommend Simon, he takes such pride in his work and is 100% professional – but with feeling!”

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Simon for the last couple of years. He has played for me in both O’Neill’s Northampton and High Wycombe, and in turn has gained nights playing in many other O’Neill’s following my recommendation, and more importantly his natural talent. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough…”
He’s a thoroughly nice bloke too!

Simon is without a doubt one of the standout musicians I know and is a perfect fit for any bar, club or wedding looking for a great night of covers. What makes Simon unique is that while staying true to the original song he brings his own great style and interpretation to that number. He covers many genres and always has fantastic banter with the audience. A mighty fine night out for me would be to have a few beers whilst listening to Simon do his thing! In two words – book Boswell!!”

Picture this: Avid fans of live music, a couple of American gals on vacation are coaxed into an Oxford bar by an EXCELLENT acoustic rendition of “Sweet Home Alabama”… only to find out the performer is not, in fact, American.

Simon Boswell is extremely talented and does a stellar job of engaging his audience. We had such an awesome time… Our only regret is that we discovered him on our last night in Oxford!!
